Are you an experienced Head of Finance or Finance Director looking for an exciting project?

We comprise three businesses, Bateman Collins International, Map Room and Artemis Infinity, each firm is at differing points in the growth cycle. We specialise in Executive Search, Consultancy and Technology Services. We have HQ locations in Westminster and Staffordshire, both with growing teams and expertise to support a wide range of customers in Financial and Consumer Services. As part of our growth journey we are looking for a Finance Director to lead and develop our internal capability and to help shape the financial control and performance of our Group.

Role Overview:

The Finance Director will provide strategic support the Group Leadership team, own and shape our financial frameworks and lead formal reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop the short, medium and long-term corporate finance plans.
• Shape and manage internal management accounting processes.
• Identify and initiate opportunities for efficiency and process improvement.
• Advise the leadership team on the use of capital and long-term financial planning.
• Own the internal and external financial reporting processes, including relationship management with external accounting teams and auditors
• Support P&L owners in the development of their financial plans and growth strategies
• Lead the small finance team across FP&A, Accounts and Staff/OPEX management.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Fully qualified accountant.
• Experience developing a Finance function in an SME setting.
• Proven track record of supporting firms through growth phases.
• Experience of M&A and Funding Options is preferable.
• Experience supporting Consulting and/or Tech firms is beneficial.
• Comprehensive understanding of UK Tax and Accounting principles
• Experience engaging with HMRC and other agencies.

Qualifications:

• Relevant accountancy qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
