We are currently seeking experienced Collections Agents to join the Map Room team and provide support to our client’s Collections Operation.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering tailored collections solutions to customers facing payment difficulties. Your proactive approach and negotiation skills will make a real impact, and you will be empathic in helping customers overcome financial challenges. Vulnerability and consumer duty will be a priority in your approach.

Experience of working in business-to-business collections and exposure to Bounce-back Loans would be advantageous.

The role will be on-site in a prestigious central Manchester location; therefore we can only consider applicants within an easily commutable distance. We are offering an attractive day rate, and the contract is initially for 6 months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engaging and Empowering Customers:Regularly communicate with customers experiencing payment difficulties. Approach these conversations with empathy and a problem-solving mindset.
• Customised Payment Solutions:Discuss and negotiate various arrears workout options, such as payment arrangements, capitalisation, loan collections, and shortfall sales, to find the best solution for each customer’s unique situation.
• Strategy Monitoring:Continuously monitor and ensure compliance with agreed-upon collections strategies. Take appropriate actions in line with our established procedures and the Special Servicing Manual.
• Effective Collaboration:Foster seamless communication with legal partners, courts, and bailiffs to ensure the litigation process proceeds satisfactorily. Collaborate with experts to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Adherence to Policies:Consistently adhere to our clients’ policies and procedures, ensuring that all actions are in line with their organisational values and principles.
